Breaking the cycle of ultra-poverty for people affected by leprosy and lymphatic filariasis in Nilphamari
The North-West Bangladesh Ultra Poverty Initiative Project (NUPIP) has been a 16-year cornerstone initiative, dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with grade-2 leprosy disabilities, stage-5 and above filariasis disabilities and those living below the Ultra Poverty Line.
In the Nilphamari district of North-west Bangladesh, the project emphasizes to enhance the quality of life, social well-being, economic conditions, better physical health through sustainable interventions for the people affected by leprosy and lymphatic filariasis disabilities including their families through a variety of initiatives.
