Chittagong People-Led Development Project (CPDP)

The Disadvantaged People’s Association (DAPA) is a registered organisation representing Self Help Groups (SHGs) as well as the Federations, aiming to achieve self-sustainability. While DAPA has successfully supported its members in improving their income, living conditions, healthcare and child education through savings and loan schemes, it requires additional support to strengthen its management and leadership capacity.

Currently DAPA serves 275 SHGs with 3537 members.

Partnering with TLMIB and TLMNZ, DAPA will implement a capacity-building project to enhance its management and leadership capabilities. This initiative aims to improve health outcomes and secure government support, ultimately enabling DAPA to become a more self-reliant organization.
